Brown's Boogie on Guitar
Today, I play my version of Etta Baker's Brown's Boogie. It is a very fun boogie tune in the key of E, that showcases several of her signature riffs. It has a big Arthur Smith influence, as is appropriate for any guitarist from NC!
Fish on Fridays: Clam Chowder
It is almost fall. For me, that means surf fishing, shellfish and soup season, and it is my favorite time of the year!

Frying likely began in much the same way as roasting. I imagine primitive man cracking an egg onto a stone, hot from the fire. He must have been amazed as the egg whitened and became solid, giving off a tantalizing smell. It must have been quite a frustration though, to try to scrape off the egg that was cooked on and stuck to the stone.
