The Herb Basket, another essential piece of equipment
Today, I show you my herb basket. While you can buy a basket, I think every herbalist should make their own to customize it. I made mine out of pine needles and upholstery thread. The strap, I made from yucca fiber. It is very strong and durable, deep and fits perfectly just below hip level. I'm 6'4', so I could never buy a basket that would fit my size. My herb basket is perfect for me!
Series 2, Lesson 42: Mexican Clover
In this lesson, I tell you about Richardia Scabra, also known as Mexican Clover. It is a very common plant that is often mistaken for chickweed, and it is important to know the difference. While this plant does have some medicinal use, it will make you vomit... which is a good way to ruin a foraging trip!
